FOD (Feeding On Difference)

Once the FOD has been activated it will continue running, producing an endless stream of visual data. The camera films the monitor and sends the data to the computer. The computer generates the differences and sends this data back to the monitor. This feedback results into a blob-like image that continuously changes its shape. Reflections from the outside world in the monitor screen can also feed the FOD. |

Als de FOD eenmaal is geactiveerd zal deze voortdurend door blijven lopen, een eindeloze stroom van visuele data producerend. De camera filmt de monitor en zendt de data naar de computer. De computer berekent de verschillen en stuurt deze data terug naar de monitor. Deze feedback resulteert in een blob-achtig beeld dat continu van vorm verandert. Ook reflecties van de buitenwereld in het beeldscherm kunnen de FOD voeden. |
