According to Flusser's definition on information, this tree outside my window at Media-GN is brought back to an absolute informational level. The video shows only the differences that take place every 1/25 second. This implies that all static elements will be invisible.
Within State of Change this process will be shown on a realtime basis. This installation will be placed in a public space and allow the viewer to focus on changes rather than on static elements. By doing so one will notice that our world is changing constantly, even if it looks like nothing is really happening.

Volgens Flusser's definitie van informatie is deze boom, buiten mijn raam, teruggebracht tot het niveau van absolute informatie. De video laat enkel de verschillen zien die plaatsvinden in 1/25ste seconde. Dit betekent dat alle statische elementen verdwijnen.
Binnen State of Change zal dit proces op realtime basis getoond worden . Deze installatie zal in de openbare ruimte geplaatst worden en de toeschouwer in staat stellen te focussen op veranderingen in plaats van op statische elementen. Door dit te doen zal men ontdekkendat onze wereld continu veranderd, zelfs als het lijkt of er niets gebeurd.
